What the StuPa does

Whoever elects the parliament helps decide how the student body spends its money, who works in the AStA and which rules apply to everyone.

Adopt the budget

The €10 per semester add up to an annual budget. The StuPa develops and adopts it.

Elect and supervise the AStA

The StuPa elects the AStA’s speakers, formally relieves them of office and keeps oversight.

Fund projects

A dedicated funding pot supports student projects and events financially.

Shape the statutes

Only the StuPa may amend the student body’s statutes, for example the contribution ordinance.

Convene a general assembly

Up to twice a year the entire student body can come together on important topics.

Meet regularly

At least once a month during lecture season. Invitations and minutes are available in the LMS.

University election

Election committee

Prepares and conducts the elections to the student councils and the AStA. Its members may not stand for election themselves.

How you can get involved

From voting to running your own project: the student body depends on people who pitch in.

  1. Vote

At the annual university election you decide directly on the members of the StuPa.

  2. Stand for election

Nine seats are currently vacant. Put yourself forward and take a seat at the next plenary.

  3. Apply for funding

Planning a project or an event? The StuPa funding pot may be able to help.

  4. Follow along

You will find invitations and minutes of every meeting in the LMS course.
